So the best thing about this job, hands down, is being asked to capture the beautiful expressions that come across people's faces, getting to be a part of a moment between family members and freezing that moment in a photo.

I love it.

Myers Family/Belly Pics!

We met up at the Botanical Gardens in Asheville for some belly pics.  It was pleasantly not-too-hot and thankfully there weren't too many people around, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves!  Since it was around dinnertime, they brought a little snack for the boys which they whipped out toward the end so  I could get a few shots of just Mom & Dad. 

Future note to self:  bring snacks or some form of bribery for kiddos if it's late in the day! Everyone's much happier :)

Reflecting....

This is from a "mini-session" last Sunday.  It threatened to rain the entire time but the humidity had an awesome effect on this little guy's hair!  Mine however....  didn't fare so well...

And you need to click on the photo to get the full effect.  This one doesn't look so striking microscopic like this!

Picture Party in the Park next weekend!!!

Sign up for a 30 minute slot between 4-8pm on Sunday, August 15th,  to reserve a "mini-session" at the Green in Laurel Park (just outside the Hendersonville city limits).  

The park is beautiful (and doesn't have a website, unfortunately!!) and has open space to throw out a picnic blanket and a great playground with lots of shade.

I'm charging $40 for per session that Sunday, this includes a high-resolution CD with 10-15 pictures mailed to you within 2 weeks.

Whew! It's been quite a month and I need to get caught up posting pictures!  

Here are a few of my favorites from the Berryman family.  Alyssa and I swapped services-  she cut my hair (and did a fabulous job considering what she had to work with!), and I got some pictures for them at a family get together!

I'm so excited for warm weather!  This was a cold and sunny Sunday morning before church.  They're a beautiful family and Keagan kept me moving!

My First Ever

The Chens agreed to let me chase them around for a few minutes one chilly Sunday afternoon.  Their baby is so easy going, which was nice since they were my first ever family picture session.  Thanks Chens!
